Housebuying Stuff

I'm too tired to come up with a more clever title. New carpet installed. New bathtub and shower installed. Painters hired. Landscaping complete. Realtor on the hunt for possibilities. Mortgage preapproval done. All of this completed while we're packing the clutter we want to keep and moving it to storage so the house is more presentable to prospective buyers. And I'm stil working overtime every week.
This is me.

In two months I'll be celebrating by snoring in my barcalounger in my new den while the kids are running around unsupervised, probably setting something on fire. They've been great about the prospective move despite all of the childhood fears involved with leaving past friends behind and attending a new school, etc. It's actually lkely that we'll be in the same school district so none of that should happen. But man, I need a vacation.

Go Around or Go Over
Because Olivia's school is closed we've been forced to do home schooling along with her teacher doing Zoom three times each week. So lesson plans are still happening but her special education also includes speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy. I don't do speech or occupational but I stepped in for physical. Weekly shopping trips have been largely uneventful of late because of the absence of you know who, UOAS. She kind of startled me with her presence at the Safeway tonight and I wondered if God specifically was observing my sense of satisfaction over her MIA status. Yesterday, Lauren and I went to Toby's Dinner Theatre for her birthday and saw Happy Days, the musical. I was never a big fan of the series but had seen enough of it to get the inside jokes and references to the old sitcom. A few of the groaners included not seeing Chuck for a few years now, the Fonz not being the same since he jumped the shark and Richie commenting on his usual ability to solve problems in just one-half hour.
