I Love the '50s: The 1950s saw an explosion in popularity of the burgeoning musical genre known as rock and roll. Its blend of black and white music, especially doo-wop and rockabilly, was embraced by a generation of teenagers.

Comments

Scott Hardie | September 26

Chris submitted a challenge with five 1950s artists that add up to 38 in rank. Even if Steve combined his five highest 1950s artists, they would only add up to 37. Steve cannot accept the challenge, unless he acquires a high-ranked 1950s artist that he doesn't have yet.

The challenge form is supposed to prevent Chris from creating a challenge that Steve cannot accept, but somehow it happened anyway (perhaps the form timed out while trying to make those complex comparisons?). My apologies to both of you.

I added a notice to the challenge-accept form that explains the problem in case this happens again.
