Celebrity Goo Game Celebrity Goo Game has gone through many rule changes and scoring systems since it debuted on February 23, 1998, but the core concept remains the same: Guess the celebrity whose face has been distorted, with the help of a clue that hints to his or her identity. A new goo is published each day and stays online for a week before the answer is revealed. The game is scored with towers: Each time you activate a goo to guess at it, you choose which of five towers you would like to place it in. If you guess the goo correctly, you'll extend the tower. If you guess incorrectly, you'll wipe out the tower and have to start over. When you complete a tower with 10 goos, you get one of three rewards that gives you an advantage in the game. The first player to complete five towers of 10 goos each will win a gift certificate. For more information, read the Game Rules. If you'd like to play, register on the site then visit the Current Goos list. Come back in a week and check the Recent Goos list to see if you were right. If you'd rather browse the history of the goo game to see if your favorite celebrity has already appeared, the Search Goos page offers the complete, searchable records of all goos. Victories and other achievements are listed in the Player Awards. The best players in the game are honored by induction into the Hall of Fame, a tribute to their talent and perseverance. |
