Player Contributions

Players are rewarded for three kinds of contributions to the game: Writing reports about the plotline, contributing to the wiki, and enhancing their characters.
Wiki Contributions

The Gothic Earth Wiki is a library of all information about the game, especially its storyline. Scott and the players write the wiki collaboratively, and players are rewarded for their contributions. Every 3000 characters of text (approximately 500 words) added to the wiki is worth 1 point. These points are given to the player, and will apply to all characters played by that player. The points rewarded cannot exceed the number of concluded chapters. Contributions copied from other sources are welcome in the wiki, but are not credited.

Reports

For each chapter in which a player has participated, they can write a report in the voice of their character. This report might take the form of a report to La Lumière, or a journal entry, or a newspaper article, or any other form. Players are limited to one report per chapter, and they can only write as primary player characters (not servants). A chapter must be concluded before its reports can be submitted.

Each report of at least 500 words is worth 1 point and $1.00 to the character. Due to quirk of the rules, for certain characters (Alexandria, Elise, John, and Lawrence), the first four points go directly to attributes, the second four points go directly to stats, and the third four points go directly to skills.
